Obama Administration Trying to Legalize Rights to Abortion and Gay Marriage Via United Nations Today

Family Under Fire at the United Nations Today!

The U.S. delegation to the UN is about to approve language in a UN document that goes against national law and against President Obama’s publicly proclaimed stance on gay marriage.  This is one to make a noise on!  Call your reps!  Ask them if this wording by the U.S. delegation is approved by the United States and why they are trying to sneak it past us in bypassing our system of laws.  This wording proposed by our delegation to the U.N. goes against our own country’s laws!

Make sure this doesn’t get past us!

See this from United Families International who is actually AT the United Nations today fighting to stop this change.

from the UFI blog :

The United States representative to the U.N. is making a move that goes against national law and President Obama’s position on gay marriage. Please call your Congressman or U.S. Senator and protest the U.S. delegation’s position.

U.N. Delegations are planning on adopting the CSW Resolution on HIV/AIDS. This document references “The International Guidelines on HIV/AIDS” as adopted by the Second International Consultation on HIV/AIDS and Human Rights, and as amended and endorsed at the Third International supported by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the UNAIDS.

The HIV/AIDS and Human Rights International Guidelines have the following language included as referenced below:

30. (f) “Laws should also be enacted to ensure women’s reproductive and sexual rights, including the right of independent access to reproductive and STD health information and services and means of contraception, including safe and legal abortion and the freedom to choose among these, the right to determine number and spacing of children . . .”

30. (h) “Anti-discrimination and protective laws should be enacted to reduce human rights violations against men having sex with men . . . ”

30. (h) “. . . These measures should include providing penalties for vilification of people who engage in same-sex relationships, giving legal recognition to same sex marriages . . .”

Please tell me you know that UN resolutions are nonbinding, right? It’s not like Boutrous Boutrous-Ghali ruled the world or anything.

Why put the language in there if that’s not the path they’re pushing? With the House, the Senate and the Presidency run by the same people who are pushing this wording through the U.N., it’s an open road to ratification.

As much as I’d like to believe what happens at the U.N. stays at the U.N., the reality is that not only our nation, but many nations worldwide will be affected by this wording. This is not a playground. This is serious stuff.

The United Nations gets a lot of extreme ideas passed through it’s gates simply because they can. It’s nonbinding yes, but it charts the course for more than a hundred nations and lays foundations for future problems.

Just because it’s nonbinding, doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous. Look at the UNCRC where parental rights were decided now how many years ago? Most participating nations have ratified it, only the U.S. and Somalia remain. The pressure liberal and socialist governments can put on other nations to conform is great.

It’s not something to be taken lightly. In fact, the UNCRC has radically changed views on parental rights worldwide. Senator Boxer and others in our leadership want to ratify this within the next two months.

Other countries look to us for leadership. This is not the kind of leadership we ought to be giving.

Just to give you guys an update, I spoke with Drew Conrad of UFI just now, he said the delegations are still hashing it out, today is the last day and it’s supposed to continue with deliberations until late in the night tonight. Our guys at the UN need backup support and we’re it!

Call your reps and make a stink!

Last year they tried something like this and deliberations went into stalemate past 3am. We won that time, but this time the changes are actually coming from the U.S. side under Obama. It’s going to be a tough drawn out fight tonight!

This is disgusting that the U.N. is trying to sneak homosexuality in the back door while no one is looking. It is not going to work. Homosexuality does not deserve special rights and protections. If all men and women were created equal, why should anyone get special rights like homosexuals? They shouldn’t and our founding fathers understood the problems that would arise from immorality like homosexuality. That is why they had laws against sodomy to keep it out of the lime light and to protect the institution of the family, especially impressionable children.

My comment will be that if they said that is ok with God for man to be with another man,wy then Man dont have babys with another man,Iwhen God create the man He didit has his image, like God Himsef, and from the man He create the woman, with a diferent, inside of Her,to be able to have fam.other wise it will be a world full of man or full of woman but is not that way God is perfect,so His creation, the man from the biginning wanths to know more than God and all ways that has been his problem because God is the only one,and all ways will be ,dont think Im perfect because Im not but I ask God to guide me to do the right thing,
