Urgent!- Harvey Milk Day Bill Passes Assembly

SB 572-Harvey Milk Day

Today SB 572 passed the Assembly and now goes to the State Senate for a quick concurrence vote, then to Governor Schwarzenegger for his signature or veto. He vetoed Harvey Milk Day last year, but it’s unknown what he’ll do this year.

SB 572 will declare every May 22 Harvey Milk Day in California. Milk was a San Francisco county supervisor and homosexual activists. According to SB 572, school children will learn about and honor Milk at school every May 22. There is hope that Governor Schwarzenegger could veto this bill again this year.

It is crucial that you contact Governor Schwarzenegger and urge him to veto SB 572!

How can we put a man like Harvey Milk, a known pedophile, a man who chose to have sex with other men and honor him with the likes of Martin Luther King, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln? We need to vote everyone out who voted for this bill, they are completely bought by special interest groups, you bet their pockets have been nicely lined with cash.

Social Politics have no place in schools. They’re supposed to be learning to read, and write with proficiency in the sciences. There are a lot of people who have done amazing things, yet there is no commemoration day for. Politically controversial people are just a distraction. Would you support Jesus Christ Day? or Mother Theresa Day? or Pope Day? How about Albert Einstein Day? That would actually be relevant to studies at least. The things Mr. Milk stood for are not enough in my view to warrant time away from school studies to celebrate. If you want to celebrate the accomplishments of Harvey Milk, that is fine, but school is not the place.

yeah, no room for social politics in school. let’s not even teach about the civil rights movement, for goodness sakes! why do we even celebrate MLK, Jr. day anyway? It should be like any other normal school day.

    Gay Day in California Schools

Call Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger at: 916-445-2841.

Listen to the recorded message and press in the following order:

    1 (English)
    2 (legislation)
    1 (SB 572)
    2 (against)

Gov. Schwarzenegger is being pressured more from all sides to sign Senate Bill 572

SB 572 would pressure every California public school to have an official Harvey Milk Day promoting the homosexual, bisexual, and transsexual agenda to children as young as kindergarten. This legislation is written so broadly that it could allow gay-pride parades on campus, cross-dressing, and homosexual marriage dramas, etc. It’s all going to come down to how much pressure California’s governor feels. Last year the Democrat-controlled Legislature passed Harvey Milk Gay Day, but Schwarzenegger vetoed it.

This year, Schwarzenegger is being lobbied more heavily by homosexual activists. Sean Penn, who played Harvey Milk on the big screen, and Milk’s homosexual activist nephew, have both lobbied Schwarzenegger to ask him to sign SB 572. This year there are four more Democrats in the Assembly voting for Harvey Milk Gay Day. And for the first time Republican Senator Abel Maldonado is supporting this anti-traditional family value bill.

This call will only take about 30 seconds to complete.

Call Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger at: 916-445-2841.

If you get a busy signal, PLEASE try again!!!

Listen to the recorded message and press in the following order:

    That’s all it takes!!

Unless he was the President or another figure who had a huge impact on human history I say quit adding commemorative days to the calendar.

There’s no way I’m honoring that lying sicko! Our liberal politicians are just asking for a rebellion!

    Stan,

There are many people we all admire and support. If you admire Harvey Milk, by all means, celebrate him! It’s a free country! But don’t mandate that other people should have to celebrate him. School is not the right place for it.

Sacramento, California – The California State Assembly has passed a bill pressuring all California public schools to hold an annual “day of significance” honoring the life and values of homosexual activist Harvey Milk. SB 572 passed on its second attempt today. The vote was 45 to 27, Democrats for, Republicans against.

“The Democrat politicians are telling schoolchildren to honor a sexual predator of teens, a homosexual sex addict who advocated polygamous relationships, and a public liar who justified his deceit,” said Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, a leading pro-family, pro-child organization that has held a Sacramento news conference today opposing SB 572. “By passing ‘Harvey Milk Gay Day,’ these Democrat politicians have declared war on children’s innocence in exchange for political favors from homosexual groups.”

For more than a month, SaveCalifornia.com has been helping parents, grandparents and concerned citizens oppose SB 572, “Harvey Milk Gay Day,” with calls, faxes, emails, and news conferences. SB 572 now goes to the Democrat-controlled State Senate, which passed the bill in May. If SB 572 passes the California Legislature, this incendiary bill will go to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who last year vetoed “Harvey Milk Day.”

“‘Harvey Milk Gay Day’ would teach schoolkids all about the life and very controversial values of Harvey Milk,” said Thomasson. “Based on the historical record of Milk’s sordid life, this could include teaching elementary and secondary schoolchildren that adult-child homosexual ‘sex’ is OK, having multiple sexual relationships at the same time is OK, and telling a very public lie is good if it ‘gets you ahead.’ This instruction, whether taught directly or indirectly, is not what parents want or children need.”

“We hate to tell you parents this, but it’s the truth: Public schools already are under state laws that require them to indirectly indoctrinate children to support homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality. To remove them from that, you have to remove them from public school. http://www.facebook.com/l/;www.rescueyourchild.org/The_Problem.html

This is bull*****. Harvey Milk WAS a pedophile. Don’t rationalize or try to dismiss it out of hand. Because many in the SF gay crowd who knew him will not deny it. He was involved with a 16-year old. The Castro District crowd all knew he had a thing for teenaged boys. Author Randy Shilts wrote in the Milk biography “Mayor of Castro Street” about Milk’s numerous relationships with teenage boys and that Milk also advocated having multiple sexual relationships at one time.
